Made from a blend of 66% Pinot Noir and 34% Chardonnay, the NV Brut Rosé begins with lively aromatics of lemon peel, strawberry seed, fresh citrus blossom and yellow cherry skin. Medium-bodied, the palate is lively and energetic with a vibrant mouthfeel before giving way to a crisp, mineral edge. The wine concludes with a soft, lingering finish that makes me salivate and begs me back for a second sip. Half a million bottles were produced after spending 15 to 18 months on the lees.

The NV Brut Rose, disgorged in February 2018, has a fresh rose petal and light cherry bouquet and a faint tough of the sea in the background. The palate is well balanced,, with a slightly honeyed, textured opening. This is a richer style of Brut Rose, though it manages to maintain tension on the finish. Fine.

A soft, dry sparkling rosé with modest aromas and flavors of strawberry hull, white cranberry and grapefruit peel. Medium bodied with assertive carbonation and a clean finish. So juicy and refreshing, this would be an excellent choice for brunch or lunch al fresco.
