Delicate scents reminiscent of white spring flower, Alpine herb and pear appear in the glass. On the bright palate, refreshing acidity accompanies mature apple, peach, wild fennel and citrus. A note of flint gives it a crisp, clean close.

I am surprised to see winemaker Carlo Ferrini's signature on this amphora-shaped bottle. I didn't realize he worked for the Cavit wine cooperative. The 2016 Trentino Pinot Grigio Infiné 1939 offers a textbook interpretation of the grape with broad aromas of preserved lemon and white peach. The wine is lean and tonic with neutral fruit flavors. This is an easy-drinking and refreshing white wine. 9,138 bottles were released.
