Clear, slightly pale garnet color reminiscent of red wine. Deep, earthy aromatics with notes of strawberry and black cherry. Low acids and very low tannins round out a plum taste on the palate. Finally, there is a long, balanced finish. This Rose is unique in that it "feels" like a red wine (Syrah) that happens to be pink so pairs well with foods generally associated with red wines - but also is delicious to be enjoyed as a Rose wine on its own.
