Pale gold/ gold color with green shades. The nose is made of white flesh fruit, candied citrus aromas with a hint of brioche and ginger bread. The mouth associates richness, subtle oak, taste of dried fruit. Pleasantly rich wine.
Pair with fine cooked meats, meat pies, warm pâté, snails.

The 2017 Beaune du Château Blanc 1er Cru comes from 10 hectares over five different Premier Crus. It has a pretty apricot blossom and white peach bouquet that opens nicely in the glass. The fresh palate is a little oaky on the entry - just 15% though, and that will be absorbed. The well-defined, commercially savvy finish shows a touch of brioche on the aftertaste.
