Jim Jim loves our Shiraz grapes and so do we. Year after year these low cropping pets produce wines which are deep in color, rich in texture and powerful on the palate. McLaren Vale is the home of consistently great Australian Shiraz and 2004 was one of those blue chip years where the balance of moisture and warmth matched the crop levels in our vineyard. We kept a watchful eye on Jim's dietary behavior as we take this as one of the primary indicators of optimum ripeness in our Shiraz. Jim Jim didn't disappoint once again. These grapes were well and truly "on song" for picking when he started to eat them on the 29th of March. It was therefore time to begin the harvest. This wine is just as friendly as Jim Jim.
